Invasion of the Dead

The Witchbane Cragon has been put down, and the Damned have been expelled from Dryad's Rest. With their leadership gone and their stronghold destroyed, elements of the undead army have scattered outwards, invading the holdings of all the countries of the First Kingdom.

On the 7th day of September, in the lord's year 4 DY, following the destruction of the Witchbane Cragon (at last) and the capping of the font of corruption located in Dryad's Rest, elements of The Damned scattered and invaded the nations of the First Kingdom.

Success:
Erzoth successfully defeated a lich and its horde of zombies.
RagnFjord faced a similar threat and likewise defended their territory.
Sanctuary faced a smaller pack of zombies, led by a monstrous, stitched together monstrosity.
Legion & Dominion faced similar threats: small roving groups of ravenous undead which laid siege to their respective castles. In both cases their strength and fortitude succeeded in shattering the gates, but from there the battles went south for the ghouls. The ghouls assaulting Dominion ran straight into a siege ballista guarding the breach. Legion placed archers in the corners of their castle and fired blessed arrows into the flanks, and when the ghouls attempted to charge the breach an allied cleric shattered them.
Bitterpeak faced a half-dozen skeletal knights, accompanied by a large stitched man, which invaded the previous home of the "angry peasants." Luckily they had months ago moved across the stream to the "town" of Mudhole.

Defeat:
The Damned marched upon Moot, but no defenders took the field to defend the empty stretch of desert.
