'''Alliance''', as its name implies, is composed of a number of semi-independent but allied elements, with the most significant being Houses and Fighting Companies.

After the dissolution of the [[Imperial Guard]], existing groups in the region banded together and formed the '''''Alliance'''''.

Alliance was a somewhat reclusive realm, but did on occasion travel beyond their borders, most noticeably when they appeared in force on the [[Day of Two Sieges]] in defense of the Isles of Langerhausen against the Bitterpeak incursion.

In early [[3 DY]], King [[Monkey]] appointed [[Sir Byron]] to act as emissary and diplomat on behalf of Alliance on the greater world stage. However within a season a still unidentified catastrophe devastated the Alliance holdings.

Within a month [[Knights of Erzoth|Erzoth]] moved into the region, claiming most of the western Alliance territory and ruins, while setting up their capital along the southern coast. At the same time [[Legion]] organized and sent southward a rescue expedition to the Alliance capital. There they met a party composed of Erzoth with [[Mardur]]ian mercenaries. After clearing the field of Mardur, the situation was settled peaceably with Erzoth, but the city was found to be entirely in ruins.

Still almost nothing is known regarding the catastrophe. In the aftermath Legion has partially rebuilt the Alliance capital, while Erzoth has slowly moved southward, claiming more of the peninsula. Sir Byron has reappeared, and with mercenary help has reclaimed the tip of the Alliance peninsula.
