Jacob Vercona was born in a small village to the far western reaches of the land. in his earlier years, he helped his father harvest the crops and tend to the livestock. occasionally he and his friends would complete small tasks that the local villagers needed completed.

Jacob lived by his own code. honor, respect and bravery, like that of the knights he admired, were his most treasured qualities.

one day, Jacob decided to leave his life on the farm and head out to find his own way. accompanied by his quick wits and an old longsword from the local blacksmith.
he found work where he could. practicing his swordsmanship on the unexpecting trees of the forest. he would offer to train with the local guards of the villages he would enter in hopes to gain knowledge and further improve his skills.
