 "You wish to hear of my battle with the White Caller? That is why you hired me, isn't it?  I'm not really a guide.  So be it.  It is an old tale told many times and I don't suppose telling it one more time will matter.  I can't say I care for the surroundings though."  The guide cast his gaze once more beyond the circle of firelight then pulled his furs closer to him and inched closer to the warmth.  Even from where I sat a goodly distance further than my guide I could feel the sting of the fire's warmth.
