The '''Dargarth Winter Games''' were last held in winter, at the beginning of [[4 DY]] (4/23/14), after somewhat ironically being postponed because of inclement weather (a snow storm). There were four events: archery biathlon, two-person sword & shield, single blue tournament, and a five-person grand melee. Finally an award was presented to the competitor that was judged to have best honor.

== Archery Biathlon ==
Competitors took up bows ''(or, in one [[Rasheab|oddball case]] a javelin)'' and ran a course consisting of four stations, and five targets in total. From the start line they had to navigated across a slippery field, stop thirty feet short of a given target, and fire. Upon hitting the target, they proceeded to the next target across the field at best time. The final station consisted of two targets, which began moving when fired upon. First to complete the course and reach the [[Arminius|judge]] won.

== Two-Member Sword & Shield ==
Two-person teams were assembled, each team having a single sword and a single shield between the two individuals. A free-for-all then commenced; last standing team were the victors. Fighters were allowed to claim replacement equipment from defeated opposing teams.

While they did not directly work in concert with one another, they did fight against the opposition until only Legion teams remained, after which they dueled to the end.
