&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;Small warships, not large enough to be considered ships of the line like their larger [[man-of-war]] brethren, they are none-the-less helpful as their sleek profiles are able to cut through the waves.  Their ability to mount a limited amount of siege weaponry (unlike the smaller trade [[caravel]]s), combined with their speed and capacity to carry additional marines, makes them a popular choice as pirate hunters and privateer vessels.  However their expense to build, coupled with cost to maintain, means they are not lightly commissioned and are infrequently seen in Dargarthian waters.&lt;br /&gt;
