One of the longest battles of the Legion-Mardur war of DY 7. Legionaires, added by the repairing magics of [[Braddick]] fought a force of mardurians backed by a goblin siege cannon.

The cannon was destroyed, most of the Mardurians were killed, and legion fought to the last defender. [[Thorne]], [[Gurp Gorp]], and [[Kit Foxwyfe| Kit]] were the only survivors.

 The siege engine was destroyed, while most of the Mardurians and Legionaires were killed one by one, the Mardurians by hails of arrows and the Legionaires by falling boulders.  In the end Legion fought to the last defender.  Amongst the defenders [[Alicaryn]] and [[Bob]] were the last standing, holding the gate.  Kit was pierced through many limbs but managed to drag herself by one arm back to the siege engine guarded by the armored [[Thorne]] and [[Gurp Gorp]].  Utilizing her magics, she managed to mend the catapult, and the gate of the tower was finally shattered and the [[Bob|hedgemage]] and [[Alicaryn|archer]] were overrun by the armored Mardurians, finally ending the battle mere minutes before the siege would have ended in favor of the defenders.  [[Thorne]], [[Gurp Gorp]], and an injured [[Kit Foxwyfe| Kit]] were the only survivors.
