Hojo Akira (北条 明), is the disowned Souzokujin (相続人 / heir) of the Hojo Clan.

Akira is currently wandering the lands of Dargarth looking to reclaim his lost honour and title -- something that he believes was wrongfully done.

Early Life

Akira does not divulge much about his childhood, other than that he was born to Hojo Moritoki and Hojo Chiyo in a faraway land. That he was raised in relative comfort, having multiple servants and retainers at his side throughout most of his life; and that he was trained by a man he calls Yoshitsune-sensei.

Fighting Style

Akira practices a style known to his people as Tenshin Shōden Katori Shintō-ryū (天真正伝香取神道流),
as a result, where many warriors of his people might learn to wield a single weapon, or two weapons, Akira is proficient in the use of many
types of weapons. He has been trained in the use of Tachijutsu (太刀術/Sword arts), Bojutsu (棒術/ Staff arts), Naginatajutsu (薙刀術/Naginata arts),
and in the use of the daikyu (大弓/Longbow), and Hankyu (半弓/ Shortbow, lit. Half bow).

He prefers to use a single sword (太刀 tachi) when fighting (ittsu no ken youshiki いっつの剣様式).
