The Cult of Hades is a loose religion characterized by the worship of the deity of death, generally called Hades. With devotees scattered across The First Kingdom (and assumedly the rest of world), it is a fast-growing religion, with many powerful clerics rising to the call of the underlord.
Clerics
The chosen few who were both unlucky enough to die, and lucky enough to meet Hades, are gifted with wondrous powers over life and death, and commanded to create and send powerful souls to the underworld. These few are the spearhead of the Cult of Hades, and most worshipers answer to a cleric.
Practices
The Cult of Hades' main goal is to guide souls to the underworld; to maintain the natural order of life and death. This is achieved in two basic ways:
Killing the long lived
Those who escape fate are keeping their souls from Hades. Though difficult if the target is a great hero, and the cultist isn't of comparable skill, this act has been shown to directly gain influence with the underlord.
Destruction of undead
Many undead are given souls to think on their own. These souls are directly stolen from Hades. The return of these undead souls is of great importance.
