Alim is a mercenary of the Cedar Order from the Southern continent.

Alim originates from deep within the Southern continent. He doesn’t remember when or how he was taken in by the Cedar Order, only that his parents died when he was very young. He grew up as a junior member of the mercenary group, fighting in his first skirmish when he was only eleven.

Although Alim grew up with one of the most renowned mercenary groups in the South, he turned out to be a pretty mediocre fighter. He could use a bow well enough and worked as a scout and reservist sometimes, but was a mere grunt compared to the veterans of the order.

During one particularly large battle, Alim’s cowardice cost the mercenary company dearly; he noticed an enemy squad approaching from behind, and, instead of warning his fellows, he ran and hid, letting the enemy catch his group unawares. After the battle, his company found him hiding in a small cave, and they decided to exile him to the Northern continents until he could prove his worth to them.

Alim now fights as a mercenary in the North, hoping to strengthen his skills, find his courage, earn wealth and glory, and, above all, regain the recognition of the Cedar Order.
