When the Knights of Erzoth shipwrecked nearby, her people were some of the first to meet them. Offering assistance in claiming their own land, the elves agreed to join the Erzothans, and Genevieve joined as ranger for the knights.
Genevieve disliked watching as the culture of her people slowly absorbed by the structured and honor-bound code of Erz. It did not forgive the carefree lifestyle of the elves. King Thorne I, of the Holy Order of Mârdûr, approached the nomadic elves, and offered to let them live their own way within his free country. There were several other tribal Elven groups that had joined Mârdûr, and Genevieve easily agreed.
