When the Knights of Erzoth were explanding nearby, Genevieve agreed to join the Erzothans, and acted as ranger for the knights.
Genevieve disliked the structured and honor-bound code of Erz. It did not meld well with the carefree and chaotic lifestyle of the elves. King Thorne I, of the Holy Order of Mârdûr, approached Genevieve, and offered a place to let her live her own way within his free country. There were several other tribal Elven groups that had joined Mârdûr, before, and Genevieve easily agreed.
