A part tongue-in-cheek, part disparaging term^ occasionally used by some to refer to those who claim knighthood or portray their characters as knights, without being knighted or being a Realm Knight.

This can also refer to "low born" or NPC knights, which in-game are explained away as "robber knights," former knights under a now defunct kingdom, or territorial feudal lineages dating from the Old Kingdom.
