A battle in the southeastern seas in early June of 7 DY.
Following Mardur's declaration of war, a Mardur caravel moved to attack the Legion ship Fairwinds. Since this battle occurred in close concert with the Invasion of Elkstone Keep, Legion knew they could not hold the ship since their forces were committed elsewhere.
Consequently, prior to the battle, Legion turned over ownership of the vessel to the Knights of Erzoth. The hope being that since the ship was no longer owned by Legion, it would protect the vessel from sinking or capture by Mardur.
When the Mardurian ship drew alongside the Fairwinds, the only individuals present were surcoated Erzothian liegemen and miscellaneous mercenary sailors.
