Wanted: Heroes for Hire

(IC) Pre-Adventure Information

A village on the western sea is seeking heroes (or mercenaries) for hire. Over the last several years the hamlet has been attacked in the early Fall; villagers are murdered and occasionally buildings are burned to the ground. The people dare not go out after dark, cutting short their time for harvest just as it is most needed. In desperation they have pooled their gold in hopes of hiring heroes who can protect them from the raiders.
