History
Sir Byron is a knight of the realm and vassal to King Monkey of Alliance, as well as appointed diplomat of that august realm.
Not much is known about the knight, as he only recently traveled from his holdings at the request of his liege lord, to serve as an emissary on the greater political stage. However he seems to be a straightforward gentleman, who doesn't hesitate to introduce himself to others. Not much is yet known of his politics and diplomatic style, but he has demonstrated willingness to step forward when others falter and offers and demands reasonable terms, even in the face of potentially superior force.
Formerly a soldier of the field, Sir Byron still enjoys trials-by-arms and has been witnessed wielding a variety of blunted instruments with competency, though on the field of battle he now restricts himself to those weapons allowed to him by his sanctified vows.
His colour is Red, and he can be known by the various shades of it he wears. His personal heraldry is currently unknown; he has only been seen displaying the heraldry of his lord and country. (It is possible that his physical heraldry was lost along with his home.) His ancestral estates are (were?) located in a southern coastal county on the Alliance peninsula.
Fun Fact: Sir Byron purportedly worships the god of thieves, claiming that, as how in some areas of the world villages revere creatures such as rats and never suffer from plague, similarly by worshiping the god of thieves he is excluded from the attentions of members of that most ancient profession.
True Story: Sir Byron is the reigning Flaming Hands champion of Dargarth (as of the summer gladiatorial games, 3 DY).
Believe it or not: but Sir Byron is a city boy. As the son of a noble house, he spent much time in the towns and cities of the region while growing up. He certainly spent time in the country as a youth and in his adulthood; he always enjoyed visiting his family estates. However the well tilled fields, trimmed hedges (free of thorns, it should be noted), and orderly gardens are not what comes to mind for many when they think of "nature."
This led to the war cry of "I HATE NATURE!" which became known at The Lay of Eliananna and Tanith Lorn; Sir Byron certainly does not really hate nature (in a "burn it down" context), but he certainly prefers it in its more civilized incarnations.
Current Events:
Following his appearances in the spring of 3 DY, Sir Byron was not seen for many months, and his whereabouts were unknown; it was thought that perhaps he was a casualty of the devastation that spelled the fall of Alliance.
However it is rumored that he has recently been seen, arriving at far flung inns late in the evening on a hard pressed steed. Where he has been will have to wait to be seen.
Durp, needs major updating. (If relevant ask Rasheab, otherwise will get updated sooner or later.)
