An objection was registered to the events portrayed in this account. While personal accounts are personal, there is also the following Important Guideline.

Version written by Collin:

Genevieve was born and raised among the nomadic elves in the plains along the southwestern coast of the First Kingdom mainland, where the Alliance once had their Kingdom. When the Knights of Erzoth shipwrecked nearby, her people were some of the first to meet them. Offering assistance in claiming their own land, the elves agreed to join the Erzothans, and Genevieve acted as ranger for the knights.
Too late, did her people realize, however, that Erzoth is a rigid imperialistic group. Genevieve watched as the culture of her people was all but wiped out by the structured and honor-bound code of Erz. It did not forgive the carefree lifestyle of the elves. King Thorne I, of Mârdûr, approached the nomadic elves, and offered to let them live within his free country. There were several other tribal Elven groups that had joined Mârdûr, and Genevieve easily agreed.

In progress version by Rasheab:

Genevieve was born and raised among the nomadic elves who live in the plains along the south-eastern coast of the First Kingdom mainland, part of which the factional Alliance once ruled, and before them the militaristic Imperial Guard. After the Knights of Erzoth shipwreck and they took up custodianship of the territory in the middle of 3 DY, some of the elven people approached them and struck an accord, the result of which was Genevieve joining Erzoth in the role of a ranger at the beginning of 4 DY.

However the partnership was not to last. Genevieve did not care for the influence of Erzoth upon the carefree wanderings of her clan. Her discontent simmered, and when she was approached by the King Thorne of Mardur and was offered a place within the monster nation, they followed their nomadic ways and struck out to the west. Whether they will their joy and and freedom there has yet to be seen.
