Former high-mage of the Mardurian empire and founder of the College of Free Sorcery. The circumstances surrounding the break between the high-mage with his former country is shrouded in gossip and half-truths, the truth of which may never be known. Following his departure he apparently disappeared from the public stage, for his whereabouts are unknown.

Also a mystery is the location of the Free College of Sorcery. While its exact position was never publicly known, it was assumed to still stand within the original Mardurian holdings. But recently, during a clash between armies of the Order of Mardur and the Explorers Guild, Mardurian leaders denounced the College and claimed it had been expelled from their borders. Consequently, there are no credible theories regarding the current, physical incarnation of the College at this time.
