History

The Highlanders Clan, a gathering of drifters, pirates, and sorted vagabonds traveling and offering their swords for hire to various nations. Getting hired out was a good way to make some spare coin but it is no life to live. Still looking to break away the Highlanders agreed to invade the lands of RagnFjord but while scouting out the lands we came in contact with RagnFjord and the Explorers guild and was offered a greater bounty to defend these lands. Legion already well versed in the art of the double-cross still seemed to take surprise when the knife was in their back rather than their palm. Now pitted against Legion negations broke down and Legion was pushed back forced to sail away. Victory for RagnFjord! However, internal struggles within the nation were too great causing a total collapse and disbandment of the nation’s people. This was the chance the highlanders have been waiting for a land open, people in need of leadership. Using the money gained from those we fought beside we, The Highlanders, stake our claim upon this land setting up our grand oligarchy to quell the chaos of the land. We strive to band all the people of the land together forming a society that welcomes all that would agree to fight as one for the Highlanders Clan. As the Highlanders Clan though we may have been petty mercenaries as a country we all stick together no matter what we are as one. We fight together we defend each other at every action and will stick by those we swear to. Though we are open to taking mercenary contracts for other nations in their conflicts we also are open to negotiation. If you would like our help in arms? Bring coin! If you want to meet for trade! We are willing to bare our wares. Want to attack our nation and kill our people? We will gladly drink from your skulls! There can only be one and The Highlanders Clan refuses to be counted out, through strength of battle or glorious trade and infrastructure we are willing to rise to the challenge!
