Overview
Located in the eastern foothills of the Abbot mountains, the sheablands are the holdings of Rasheab of Legion. The region agriculturally is known almost exclusively for the cultivation of hops and grapes (and the distillation thereof), and the crops are tended by dedicated shepherdesses.
Otherwise there are ancient fortifications overlooking many of the picturesque valleys.

Recently
An feud almost erupted with the downriver plantation region of Goodlo Bar over the exportation of sugar (which the Sheablands requires for many of its products). When the flow of sugar was threatened to be severely curtailed, in turn it was threatened that the river would be dammed near its source, which would have caused a drought in the downriver fields.
Eventually situation was resolved to both leader's satisfaction, and as a side effect Goodlo Bar gained custodianship of all the male German Shepherds, while the Sheablands retains the female German Shepherds (because girl dogs are better).
