Conrich is probably the worst bard to travel the First Kingdom of Dargarth, but he still somehow makes loads of money doing it.
He is an okay knife-fighter, a notorious flirt, and always seems to forget his lute. Despite rampant mediocrity, he thinks very highly of himself, and always has a cheery demeanor.

Conrich was raised among the upper-class families of Bitter Peak, as the bastard son of councilor Rodrich Dolsworth. At twenty-five, after an argument with his father, he left Bitter Peak to find his mother's people, the elves. He didn't need to travel far until he found and joined a wood-elf village in the forest, just to the south, where he started a troupe of minstrels to travel the lands and earn money for the small community.
Upon returning, years later, the troupe found the town in ashes, a large part of the forest destroyed, and the people nowhere to be seen. They found out that the insular mercenaries from the mountain had taken over, and decided the elves were a threat to be removed. His companions fled the land, but Conrich went to find his family, but was captured and imprisoned. They suspected him of being an elf spy, but his half-brother was on the Bitter Peak council, and spoke up for him, preventing his execution. He could not keep him from being tossed into the dungeon, however.
For a year and a half, Conrich had only his lute to keep him company, until he was freed by the Lord of Blood, Uulmshar. Uulmshar needed a body-double to lead military actions in his stead, and Conrich's acting skills fit this role perfectly. Also, they looked alike. Obviously, he agreed, and was given a wardrobe identical to Uulmshar's.
He wandered the lands of the First Kingdom, searching for riches in the guise of spreading music and joy, when he wasn't pretending to be a death cleric, but that came to an end soon enough. He received a letter from Uulmshar, informing him that his services as stand-in general would no longer be needed, as Uulmshar had been unseated by Savalis.
Free again from all obligations, he returned to Bitter Peak to learn that his father's family had been ousted as well, and they were nowhere to be found. Having no more ties to the mountain city, he left for greener, warmer lands, with more exotic cultures, prettier women, and heavier treasuries.
Conrich was hired by the Knights of Erzoth as a quick at the fourth Skullbowl, quickly losing to Legion's team in the first match. He chose to stay as a referee for the rest of the games, and was awarded the "good sportsmanship" trophy.
Up to his normal mischief, Conrich dressed as a mercenary from Bitter Peak and sneaked into a Sanctuary-owned tower, to assumed the role of a defender. Shortly, Mardur broke down the gates, and Baron Dameaion of Dominion captured Conrich, the last survivor of the siege. King Thorne later came to visit him in Dominion, before he was released.
Conrich frequently appears in public, acting as if everyone in the world is his best friend and lover.
